Our Founder
Monique Ritson
At Creative Workshops we offer a variety of things from in-person workshops, private crafty celebrations, fun team building activities to DIY craft kits. We understand the value of spending time with likeminded people and we wanted to create a safe space where people can explore their creativity.
We have a bright and charming studio situated in Boston, Bellville. The studio provides a welcoming environment where you can feel at home, learn a new skill and enjoy igniting your creativity while connecting with other crafters.
Monique is the creator and crafty soul behind it all. Both of them are creators of beautiful spaces within the wedding and event industry. After being restricted from doing events during the 2020 pandemic Monique and her previouse partner decided to not let their talents go to waste and so the Creative Workshops brand was born. Everyone on the team loves beautiful things, making them and sharing them with our tribe. Creative education is very important to us and we love being able to share our skills with others.
The Creative Workshop studio is a very versatile space that can accommodate a variety of small events from crafty teambuilding events to bridal showers, baby showers and other intimate, craft-based gatherings. Monique runs most of the workshops herself, but also work with various talented creative collaborators.
